Antichi Organi del Canavese (Antique Canavese pipe Organs), a discografic collection born in 1996, has as its only aim the diffusion,
divulgation, and valorization of a patrimony important both for it's quality and quantity; namely, more than 120 historical organs, some of which deserve to be counted as among the most important and best preserved achievements of their time.

The Canavese province is richer than any other in renowned pipe
organs: for quite a long time the one in the di San Benigno abbitial church held first
place, followed by those of Strambino, Montanaro and Cuorgnč ..." on March 9th 1826 with these words , the Gazzetta Piemontese, on the occasion of the inauguration of the grand organ Serassi at
Feletto, underlined the supremacy of the Canavese pipe organ patrimony over the entire Savoyard
territory.

Five years after the birth of ANTICHI ORGANI DEL CANAVESE, the label
AOC Classic begins its existence with this recording.
The cultural ideals of the original program remain unchanged, especially the objective of presenting unusual musical itineraries or areas of music poorly represented by the existing record catalogs.
The primary objective will be the presentation of instruments, music, and musician of the Canavese or the region of Piedmont.
In this way spreading the knowledge of and helping the value of the music of Piedmont, and at the same time stimulating the study and cataloging of the immense musical wealth, until now relatively unknown.
The presentation of the quintet Brass Express represents the best possible beginning for an initiative directed to all music lovers.
